The museum’s research specialists are well-versed not just in the Royal Irish Fusiliers and their forefathers, but also in British and Colonial units in general. Despite the fact that the bulk of research is centred on World War One, inquiries from the Peninsular War to the present are often performed. If applicable, our £30 research fee includes searches for the following items: medal index card, silver war badge card, attestation, discharge, and pension papers, medal rolls, commission, London Gazette, pow records, war diaries, will forms, variation of service books, town & school rolls, Presbyterian roll of honour, Regimental histories, Army lists, M/S material, and any other sources deemed releasable.
Royal Irish Fusiliers Museum
The museum’s research experts have extensive knowledge of not just the Royal Irish Fusiliers and their predecessors, but also of British and Colonial regiments in general.
