The Abingdon Collection is organised into two different areas of interest and encompasses over 50 years of dedicated collecting. With approximately 2,500 objects on permanent display, the initial portion of the collection focuses on World War II and is one of the largest private collections in private possession.
The Collection’s second section focuses on the founder’s passion for classic cars. Over 500 die-cast model vehicles, photos, and automobilia round out the collection, which also includes Harley-Davidson, Triumph, and Kawasaki motorcycles.
If you grew up in the 1950s, 1960s, or 1970s, or simply enjoy “Big Boys’ Toys,” there is something for you. The Collection is only available by appointment, although we will make every attempt to accommodate small groups or individuals.
Visitors are welcome to see the Collection without charge, however, donations to Cancer Research UK are warmly welcomed.
