Santa Square
Feel the magic of Christmas come to life with a visit to Santa Square.
Located on the fourth floor, W5’s mezzanine has been transformed into a town square housing Santa’s workshop. Enjoy the festive window displays, twinkling lights and life-size nutcrackers waiting to greet you before you meet the Big Man himself.
The Storyteller’s Winter Tales
Step into their AMAZE space on level 4 and become immersed in a magical theatre show for all ages. Their storyteller invites you into his frozen world where he will narrate the tale of how the Robin got its red breast, use the magic of sound to take you on an imaginary walk in the woods and reveal the secret of how the mystic northern lights were created.
With an exciting mix of live theatre, puppetry, engaging soundscape technology and original animation, this captivating experience is sure to leave you in a merry mood.
T’Was the Night Before Christmas
Enjoy a reading of The Night Before Christmas and How the Grinch Stole Christmas in their Theatre Space on Saturdays and Sundays at 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm.
Family Drop-In Sessions
Snowball Fight:
Do you like snowball fights but don’t like getting frozen fingers? Ever wonder what it would be like to have a snowball fight indoors? Well, now you can! Their snowballs look and feel like real snow but are dry, soft and warm. They’re really cool but not in a cold way. Let the fun begin and the snowballs fly! Snowball Fight is a walk-up experience from 11am-5pm everyday!
The North Pole Post Office
Pop up to the level 3 mezzanine and take part in their Christmas theme papercraft activity. Write your letter to Santa before posting it in Santa’s Magic Post Box. You can also help them spread some Christmas cheer this year by designing a Christmas card to make someone, who is maybe less fortunate or lonely over the festive period, smile with a random act of kindness.
Christmas Climbit
The atrium at the heart of W5 is brimming with light, sound and cheer this season. Climbit, their multi-storey climbing structure, has been wrapped in thousands of twinkling lights and shines as bright as a star.
Jingle All The Way Cafe
If you prefer to keep your feet firmly planted on the ground, then warm up with a seasonal drink and treat at their Jingle all the Way café, found at the foot of Climbit. The perfect way to enjoy some festive fare in the form of Yuletide drinks and snacks.
