Juliana will guide you through the fun process of making your own bespoke, hand-poured soy candle. You’ll be provided with the tools and materials to make your own candle at the workshop, as well as choosing a scent and colour, taking inspiration from the native plants and trees found in the Folk Museum. Learn about the history of candles and candle making in Ireland and warm up with a mince pie and drink in the festive surroundings of the museum. You’ll also have the opportunity to make hand painted wrapping paper to package your candle.
